Disappointed
 

I'm the type of person who would bind, rez, and buff people for free and I'd do it any time I saw someone ask for those things. This was back on the Live servers before I ran across Project 1999. Now, I'm on here as a level 2 cleric. I don't have any significant amounts of money or gear to offer people as a tip. I spent almost 3 full hours in Greater Faydark asking for a bind this afternoon and NO ONE would help. There were several people in the zone with the capability to do such a spell, but none could be bothered to help. I just don't understand that. Why would a high level person even be in GFay if not to help the lower levels. Surely they have somewhere else to be if they're not interested in helping out. It's been a disappointing day on P1999.

I've never played WoW and thanks for proving my point that players on P1999 aren't helpful.

I guess you just got unlucky. I got tons of help when I first started and I paid it forward by constantly helping new players when I come into contact with them. First tip is to get to WFP and get a bind there. Always tons of people on EC and you can get buffs and sometimes free gear at all times of the day.

A lot of the people that hang out in GFAY are afk. The majority of the people on this server will go out of the way to help you, sometimes they might be busy, or helping a friend already.

Use /who and send actual tells sir. I for one only pay attention to ooc chat in dungeons and EC, not to mention all those AFK peeps.

Hard time buying that this is a newb. Newbs poet this stuff in Server Chat. They aren't yet aware of what exactly RNF is for.

You probably got unlucky. Most of the community here are pretty solid. There are a few douches you will run into with clear issues that pain them to press a button, but for the most part there's a lot of help. Let me know if you still need a bind.
