Best caster combo
 

Ok so me and my bro are making a caster class combo. We obviously want to PvP but also need to be viable for PvE. Most of the stuff I've read that currently exists on the forums is out dated and doesn't consider all options so give me your 2cp

We were thinking Enchanter Necro. Enchanter being able to control and stop gating as well as good nukes and debuffs, Necro for movement speed, dots and his ability to fear kite and such for duoing PvE

I would vote either enchanter+druid or enchanter +wizard

druids get sheer versatility, nukes, heals, buffs, speed enhancement, port, regen, damage shield etc

Wizards get pure damage+ports
From what I read it soudns like you may be feeling that DoTs are better for pvpt han they really are. all about burst.

You're absolutely right, I've made the pretty big assumption that because Necro's hold their own very well solo PvE that it would apply to PvP also. My only concern is that Wiz/Ench wouldn't be as strong PvE?

eh with chanter charm pets, mez for CC and clarity to keep you nuking it'd be fine.

I'd still say druid is your best bet, youll get decent nukes as well as the heals for emergency situations, as well as the best roots and snares in the game.

On release here dominated ench + wiz at 50.

id go chanter + druid or maybe chanter + sham if you dont mind needing to ask for ports

Enchanter + Wizard or Wizard + Enchanter

Wizard + any other caster awful pve, strong pvp.

Enchanter + pet class

Necro more utility than mage

I can't decide between enchanter + wizard or wizard + enchanter
