EXP Deaths that are not classic

On pvp servers there were many ways to die and not take exp death.

1. Removing HP items when you were low HP - ex you had 30 health left and removed a 50 hp item, you would just fall to the ground and die.

2. Drowning

3. Falling

4. Killing yourself (with a nuke or dot)

5. pvp

Anyone remember if there were any others?

Ring pulling (or any HP item) was definitely legit during classic, as I remember doing that quite a bit on SZ (Velious era). Definitely no exp loss on that, instant death so long as you pulled HP item when you were low enough. Noticed early on that this does not work on red99.

I don't know about the rest, other than on Sullon Zek there was definitely exp loss on pvp death.

Pain and suffering is a pvp death, as well.

zoning with hp gear doesn't heal you up correctly

I know pain and suffering did cause exp loss in classic. DoT's also caused exp loss. I was a necro and it was always considered bad form to let the dot finish someone off. Basically anything other than a direct damage attack or spell from another player would cause exp loss, not sure when that was changed.

This (and manastoning too death too) would xp loss you. Removing hp item would not.

(On pvp servers @ least)
