eqclient.ini
Well, for some strange reason, I did a little update for my computer. That's not really the strange part. The strange part happened when I came back online and found my entire client had been reset. Not the UI portion, but my keyed bindings/colors/sound etc. Luckily for me, I had copied the EQ folder onto my desktop to enable Velious play. Much to my surprise, my Velious copy had not been effected. So I did what any sort of mildly computer literate fella would do and copy pasted the clientfile over to my regular EQ folder. But this did not work. Is this a common problem? Or am I missing something entirely?
Thanks for all your help. -Fllash |
Something is definitely "up" with that file. I reinstalled EQ the other day and I had a few bits of text in there but not to the extent that it should have been.
Not sure if this'll help or not (and remember to adjust your resolution away from mine, its probably different)...but it works for me. Yet to do any custom changes with any text colours etc so that'll all be standard :p Quote:

I have the file on my velious folder on my desktop. For some reason my EQ folder in my Program Files (etc etc) folder is not reading it. I have logged in on my velious one, and everything is the same. I have double checked the eqclient file in both folders and they are both matching up. It just doesnt read it.
