Am I Canni dancing wrong?
 

I'm a young, inexperienced shaman and I am curious if I am canni dancing incorrectly.

From what I read, the process is simple. Sit down and wait for hp/mana tick, stand up and cast Canni, and sit down.

But I hear that the uptick of hp/mana happens once ever 6 seconds? It seems to happen much sooner for me. :confused:

I wait about 2 seconds and my hp and mana both jump up between 1 - 3%.

Am I not waiting long enough?

This server has two ticks.

Tick 1 will be your mana regen from Meditate
Tick 2 will reduce your mana by a single point (this is where the client and the server synch up)

If you cast inbetween Tick 1 and Tick 2, you will lose the mana you regained from meditating. You need to wait until Tick 2 goes, then you can stand and cast.

Sometimes those two ticks are a second apart somtimes they are 5 seconds. I'm not quite sure what exactly influences that.

Basically you need to wait for that 1 mana tick to happen. Which means you need your total mana pool (value) displayed to properly do it on this server.

This has to do with the Titanium client having a larger calculated tick than the server-side tick, the small tic you see(or even reduction in mana) is the server syncing up with the client. Wait for the smaller update/tick, then canni.

can someone post a macro of how to add a clicky to cannidance plz?

saw someone using gobbo earin mixed with canni, recently....

am unclear how you put clicky items into the macro......

ofcourse this begs the question, can u activate said earing (from macro) without it being worn.
I know bards use macros to swop instruments, but never looked into this, in any depth.

Could be used in above macro.

btw no reason not to start epic @29. IF you have friends to help, you could have clicky boots by lvl 30. Even with pickup grps, its doable by 40.

There is no macro command to activate a clicky or move an item. Not without hacking.

People manually Canni dance when using the instant clicky GCD exploit.

It's pretty easy to click a mouse 6+ times per second just holding it how you normally would. Clickies don't seem to activate more than a few times per second though, no matter how fast you click them, at least not for me. When I spam my manastone I get as many "you can't use that ability yet" messages as I do winces.

Spamming and tying an item clicky into a hotkey that casts a spell and sits down is not doable. Is what I was saying.

People may use fancy mouse/keyboard/autofire programs to spam click Manastones. But that's really unnecessary, just spam click it.
