jav-spamming pet-attacking low-latency FTE peons
 

Current rules seem to suggest that there is nothing wrong with unguilded players tracking and tagging raid mobs, as long as each guild does not have more than two representatives at a spawn point (this seems impossible to enforce, but w/e).

So I'd like to kind of feel out if anyone would be interested in sitting on the spawn point of an outdoor dragon for some period of time spamming target nearest mob/ranged attack/pet attack etc. Once FTE is acquired, you or your team would have to be capable of bringing the dragon successfully into camp. If the dragon makes it into camp and we wipe, that's our problem.

PM/post with offers. Or if you feel like turning this thread into good RNF material, that's fine too.

I'll offer one lick of common sense that this would get you banned real quick like.

I really need to level my Bard, this just sounds way too profitable and fun. Real question though is if I could take bids in /ooc after getting FTE? :D

Recent ruling points to yes. Its your mob until you die and another FTE is given. So long as you finalize the bid before the mob gets to camp... you should be set.

Although its also possible that everyone could decide to just let you die if you wanted too much or were too offensive. But it would be pretty funny!

edit: I would like to add that although this is a slightly trollishly flavored post, it is serious. I don't like FTE spamming and I'd be willing to pay people to do it for me. I'm fairly confident I could trio Faydedar with Sakuragi/Raev, a bp cleric, and an epic bard, and Fay can drop quite a bit of gear. I'd probably make anyone tracking for us go /afk FTE SPAM FOR THE A-TEAM or something to make it clear who are trackers were.

That would be in the rules, nothing wrong with it. You might need a dps in there though. Fay is a naggy clone but it has the annoying 3-4% / tick dragon hp regen.

So I remember rules being that you need a raid force to back you up in order to get FTE on a dragon, has this stopped? I noticed sirkens last post in that thread and it seemed to make the raid force rule worthless
