Is it me or...
.... There a lot of shamans on p1999? I do not remember seeing so many back in the day.
|
People on Project 1999 are much more knowledgeable about which classes are "good" and which are "bad". Thus you will see a lot more Bards/Shaman/Necromancers/Enchanters and a lot less Rangers/Wizards/Mages/Paladins than on live.
|
Honestly that makes very reasonable sense. I see thanks loramin!

NP ... and as a Shaman myself (with Ranger and Mage alts), let me just say that you shouldn't let that stop you from playing whatever class you want. Even if you pick a popular class you'll still be able to find groups/guilds/loots, and the same is true even if you pick an unpopular class. It might be a little harder to get a guild as a popular class, or to get a group as an unpopular one, but it certainly is doable.

Yeah popular or not. It is definately the class that suits me these days. I am sure once i am in the swing of things ill be enjoying this with a good group of people!
Thanks again! |

I went 50 lvls as a warrior and finally started another character too. Most of the people I leveled up with are gone or did the same thing, rerolled. |

I'm keeping my dwarf cleric for now at level 9. Hopefully there will a surge of newer people at some point and I can get some grouping done and level him up. |
Do not despair my new friend as the weekends bring a larger surge of players to group up with. What your characters name? If I hop in game tonite maybe we can group up if I have someone in your lvl range =D

Don't forget if you roll a cleric you're also a great undead wizard too, check out the "Guides" section of the wiki for some tips on going from 1-50 solo as a cleric :p
