Silentfist and Ashenhand Discs
 

Do these discs serve any meaningful purpose? They are a Monk's 59 & 60 discs respectively, but work for abilities weaker than Flying Kick. Do a Silentfist Tail Rake and Ashenhand Eagle Strike hit harder than a Thunderkick Flying Kick? Does the Ashenhand Eagle Strike hit harder than the Silentfist Tail Rake? If you have an answer, or numbers, please post!

Nope.

You only need to use 4 discs

Stonestance - general tanking/pulling, mash it often
Void Dance/Whirlwind - special tanking/pulling/positioning situations
Innerflame - dat DPS on bosses

none of the special ability discs actually work here

nor does the attack speed one, forgot the name

Will they ever fix this, or was this behavior "classic?"

Also, I've seen guild monks thunderkick for ~240 DMG.
