Keyboard configuration
Hi everyone,
I have trouble with the keyboard configuration. In game, the configuration is weird. It is almost QWERTY (the 'm' is not where it should, '4' '6' '8' '/'... cannot be typed) and I would change it to AZERTY (french keyboard). I have modified the file keyboard.txt in the Everquest directory with a binary file editor but the changes don't seem to have any effect. In fact, the original keyboard.txt looks like a proper QWERTY configuration which is not what I have in game. Does anyone have encountered this problem and found a solution ? European players must have tried to change the configuration. The main problem for me is the lack of '/'. I could live with a proper QWERTY conf. I run EQ with Ubuntu and Wine. I don't have keyboard problems with any other stuff. |
On the same topic, a few keys don't work for me. Quotes, equal/plus (not on numpad), don't work. Those are the only ones I need that I've noticed are broken.
Any way I can fix these kind of issues? Every other key I need seems to work. |
