EQ client just closes
 

Im sure you have been made aware but just wanted to post that my EQ client keeps randomly closing. Does it 2-3 times when i just get on then it wont close for a solid 14 hours after.

I get this quite often as well. As far as I can tell it doesn't happen at specific times such as during a spell cast, but seems to be random. There is no error message, and the eqgame program just ends abruptly.

EQ client will randomly just close, most of the time during fights ~_~

quick note guys - this was happening to me too until i stopped using ie while playing. i think the ads were causing this. haven't had the problem since using firefox

Use search. There are a million threads about this. None of the many different "fixes" work for some people, but there is another thread going on right now that lists all of the "fixes" that some people think work.
