Help w/ creating silk boots

I am trying to figure out how to make silk boots.
I have bought the boot pattern and have a total of 2 silk swatches.
Any help would be appreciated.

looks like its 1 swatch if you are talking about raw silk. check the wiki man everything is there.

You need to find a merchant that sells a tailoring kit and then put the silk and pattern in it and hit combine. You will probably fail a few times with a lower skill though

First off, welcome to the server/game =)

As for crafting, several resources for this exist (I think the wiki has guides?) but for the most parts tradeskills use one or several types of special container, either carrier with you (sewing kit, fletching kit, etc) or fixed to the ground (oven, furnace, etc). The appropriate items (see the wiki for recipes) are placed in the container and combined. The item will be created upon success, which is a random chance based on character skill level in that tradeskill (and maybe other things? I'm actually not 100% sure but I recall that INT/WIS play a role and possibly others for different skills?).

To create items with tailoring, you need a sewing kit, several types exist but I think a Small Sewing Kit will be sufficient for creating raw silk boots.

put the boot pattern and 1 swatch in a tailoring kit and combine. itll either fail or succeed. if it fails you lose all the materials.
