Cleric pet

I remember clerics keeping these up indefinitely on live. Not sure if it was classic or something that happened in luclin but there is no doubt in my mind that there used to be a way to preserve them like a chanter pet. Clerics would fully buff them and make them part of the group. I never see them up on this server so I doubt there is a way but figured i'd ask.

Yeah, the big hammers? Those were at least Luclin era.

no one bothers to cast the cleric pet because it costs 600 mana, the mana cost wasn't reduced to a reasonable amount until the end of Luclin.

Clerics have pets on p99, they're called the tank and/or puller.

lom/20: /pet back off + /pet guard

gtg: /pet attack

/g "ON ME!": /pet back off + /pet attack

There was a bug where you could HP buff your unswerving hammer and that would prevent it from suiciding once the mob died? Something like that.

Yah iirc it would dd itself only enough to kill its normal hp.

I like to harvest scorpion venom/bone chips in Field of Bone with my hammer pet. I keep it up by always having something aggro'd on me. This way, I can just run around bonking scorpions/skeletons in melee (one smack is all it takes) and training it around (with the crowd of other scopions/skeletons I've been doing this to) until my pet finally gets finished killing whatever it's working on and then it'll switch targets without dying. I usually don't need to use any mana at all to keep this going, and I get as many venoms and bonechips as I want before I get bored and go do something else.

I've always thought that the cleric's pets were Rangers.

What are the components to summon? Wolf whiskers?

reclaiming this pet would not give any mana but rather a IOU note.
