Red Cage Match Tonight at 8PM EST All Participants Welcome, Levels 1-10
 

In a continuation of our celebration of all the new Red changes, we are running a free-for-all Arena Cage match at 8PM EST on the Project 1999: Red server!

Levels 1-10 are welcome to participate. No higher level character may be present at the time of the match.

There will be no rules for this match except no outside buffing, no regeneration items (fungi tunics, etc), and no super twinks. Contestants must stay within the bounds of the inner arena wall (but may leave the platform). The last 20 people standing will receive a reward. The last man standing will receive an extra special reward. These rewards will be mid level items aimed at helping new players get started on the server!

If you have a character who is over level 10, please feel free to roll a new character and start leveling him up in order to participate. If you are competing on a character that is not your main character, the event rewards will be tradeable, so you may transfer your reward to a different toon once the event is over.

Summons will begin at 8PM EST sharp. Bring your finest fine steel weapons and prepare to have your mettle tested against a hundred other participants!

The event will be streamed live at www.twitch.tv/sirkenp99 for all the higher level players who are unable to attend.

Are +55 HP rings allowed? I'd ban them in the interests of fairness to the genuinely new :p

With 100 people and some organization, a horde of level 10's could kill a twink.

In any case, there isn't much point to bringing a decked out twink - the top 20 finishers all get a prize, with the overall winner getting something slightly better. It's not going to be something worth earning for a super twink.

Made a SK, won't get him past level 3... but I'll be along to watch ;)

Roll on red pals, give it a try if you haven't already - people are getting 5-6 man groups in MM and places lately.

I am enjoying it so far...people are nice...and just as friendly as blue...hell ive had almost a full set of gear given to me =)

Hoping to see Red show it's true colors during this campaign drive. We're really not the monsters that the forums make us out to be.
