S2k server, what.. 2005-2006 emu era? It was early.

Me and my brother were on the server the first few weeks when you could double plat using a quest bug, we made a few billion. Took a break and came back a few months/years later and apparently stuff was fixed, money had real value and 1k was considered a lot.. haha we were ballin needless to say. My brother gave 5 mil to a guy who nearly fainted

Easily the best custom server I ever played, great designers. Anyone know of any good videos of s2k?

So apparently the server had its DB sold off to at least 5 different people after it decided to shut down. I wonder what's happened to those and if we'll ever see it reemerge. That would be awesome.

I played s2k around 2002-2003 iirc

I played on it and I think I have a copy sitting around on a HDD that hasn't been touched for 2 years.

It would certainly not gather the same crowd it did back in 2002-2005, at least not by today's standards of custom EQEmulator servers.
