Necro epic?
 

I have been playing for quite some time now and out of my time being here have only seen maybe 3 necros with epics. One of them was more recent and he was low lvl (like 25 or so).
That seems pretty insane to me but I did see it.

I know epics are supposed to be epic but how come there are very few necros with theirs?
I would love to get mine someday but the slime blood and the eye are quite rare/pricy.

No slime bloods basically ever drop. That's the short answer. The necro you saw was probably Shinko, who sacrificed himself down to like level 20 because, I don't know, he's Shinko.

Anyway, that was probably him, and that's why necros never have epics. Not because of Shinko, mind you, because of the first thing I said, that slime blood never drops.

Both Eye and Slime Blood are very rare. Thats why so few Necro Epics..Simple as that.

It's a crappy epic and yeah the Slimeblood never drops. Ever. I want to say there was another huge bottleneck that isn't that way on here, maybe the eye?

I never got mine. The Shissar Deathspeaker Staff is arguably better than the epic.

Cloth off the Keeper of Souls (for the sky cloak, which is required) is relatively rare too.

The necro epic will become more useful when root&snare start to stack in Velious. Not a game-changer the way the soulwell staves are though.

Oh yea, the Cloak of Spiroc Feathers was a bottleneck as well.

What a shit epic compared to the Shaman one, which has poor man's splurt as a clicky.

Dang yeah I never got my epic on live either even after pop came out.

But that's what I figured was the slime and eye are that rare. Even after the revamp where mini bosses can drop the eye and ?terror? I think they were still pretty expensive.

But in my opinion if I could afford a slime an eye the cloak isn't all that bad if I recall, other than the cape but 2/3 of the items could be dropped so to me as a person, I would never see VP gear so it's a slightly more attainable, sorta.

Get the VP stick, the fear stick and the epic.

The epic effect isnt suuuuper sexy, but the stats remain good for pulling as necros have a predominant role for pulling on the raiding scene.

You will want a zlandi heart for regen comes velious, but the epic will be handy outdoors.

Got all 3, if only lodizal could be fear kited . . .

Epic Snare really should always land in pvp, 9 second cast . . .
