Can we get /join LFG or auction
 

can we please have a way to shout more than a few zones over for groupage and wares? maybe implement the ability to make channels like LFG or auction because right now the exp bonus is amazing, however if noone hears you shouting LFG its kind of pointless.

lfg channel would be a good idea, where people could talk, just ban anyone using it to be a dick or something

There are solutions already in game right now that correct any situation that would require the DIRE need for global OOC, just people choose not to use it, and would rather take on the mentality of being entitled or it's just not convenient or good enough. You know how often I found people using LFG in global OOC? Maybe a dozen lines of text every few hundred. The other hundred was just global dick stroking and shit talking.

If you really can't find a group do what blue does and make a post saying you're lfg. Set up static groups, turn anon off, turn on lfg, send tells to random people, perhaps create a new hub like Freeport for meeting people or gfay.

Why do you argue for keeping the server classic in one thread and then for adding non classic features in another?

People would still have the freedom to shit up those channels but maybe having them labeled for specific use would help some. Along with week long suspensions when abused if GMs did happen to be on when it happened. Right now /OOC invites all kinds of conversations and with so much tension/hate among guilds it is inevitable for it to escalate. If you suspended people for any type of off subject chat, good or bad, it would hopefully change.

I know you mentioned it would be optional to have up but on a PvP server the lfg channel is almost a must so you know where people are to group with or PvP against.

Auction kind of the same deal, I wouldn't want to ever miss out on seeing what the game economy is doing.
