ENC Research: Worth it?
 

Recently rerolled my Chanter, and am approaching the level where Research becomes available. On Zeebos v2, I dropped lots of points into Research, but have noticed that A: ENCs get no NO TRADE spells through Research, and B: All our researched spells are wicked cheap. I also have an ENC guildie with 200 Research, so I'm just not sure if there's any point in me bothering to do it, when I can just apply the plat to skilling up JC? Is there?

Can't say I disagree with your reasoning.

I kept my research up and was able to make a few of my spells, but many of
the research spells I purchased directly because I wanted them right away
and they were pretty affordable. TBH, a bunch of the research spells I felt
I really didn't need, so I never bothered getting them. Putting points into
JC seems more worthwhile if you want to pursue that skill.

Also, I have about three of four level 40 research spells on my mule that I made, but
can't seem to sell them. I've been giving a few away...
