FD bug
 

i am new to p99 but longtime eq player specifically monk, I am noticing here that fd even when it succeeds will not work and you will still be beaten on. is this just going to be a permanent thing or is there plans to fix?

You need to turn off attack before feigning.

I had a bug the other day where I'd feign, and it'd show the feign animation, but I'd still be getting attacked and my Feign actually never got used. If this happens to you just stand up and feign again. I'm not sure if it was lag or an actual bug.

i don't ever remember this being in the game, nor does it always happen in p99 just sometimes what's the deal on this?

FD will always fail if attack is on.

Its classic. Cant remember when it changed. PoP I think.

really? i played a monk from velious-now on live and do not remember this at all.

ok i've been on a search frenzy to check this out checking all patched notes ect and found almost nothing from sony/verant that may refer to this or when it was fixed. except for maybe this Dec 1999 patch note. any idea what they mentioned on this date?

-The Feign Death changes which were mentioned on November 16th are now
live.

Was really that it ALWAYS failed but if you were unlucky enough to have a swing go off after you hit the FD button it would then fail. So you just always made sure to turn off auto attack before you FD'd.
