Getting spells file is outdated at character screen :/
 

So i finally got it set up and running, but when i'm at character selection screen i can't create any characters and it says my spells files is outdated, errorcode SP -1

The thing is, i downloaded the latest file from the getting started forum and extracted it to E:/p1999 and clicked "Yes to all" when i came to replace.

Is there something i'm missing?

Downloaded the latest ones from the top of http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=140577 extracted them to e:\p1999 and still got the same error.

Should i extract the file in another folder?

Connectivity issues can cause the same error.

Well apparently there is no connectivity issues, i log on fine, i just get the message at the character screen and i can't create my char.

That's what I'm talking about. Connectivity issues. I log on fine, too, but still get the error a lot when my connection is lousy.

are you sure your connecting to the project 1999 blue server? sometimes the server select screen will bounce you to another server if you hit the last played server button.

Yep! I connect to the ruins of kunark server, not by last server/quick connect button. Any other idea?
