dos style command screen pops up at random
 
I see this maybe 1-2 times a day i'll be playing and all of a sudden this dos style command screen pops us for a split second and is gone. any idea's?

you can issue commands from the chat line into a command prompt with a certain / code i wonder if this is whats happening

no it's been completely random fight a mob, just standing there, ect. and it's only up for a split second, you would miss it if you blinked

That sounds like a program is being executed, it is most likely something that has nothing to do with EQ

it's never happened before nor does it happen unless p99 is up.

lol no need. it's pretty much just the same box that pops up when you hit launch titanium before eq comes up, has more text in it though. gone too fast to read any of it though.

run full malware/virus sweep. use a good scanner like kaspersky.

that cmd prompt could be so many bad things. it could also be nothing, but why take the risk?

i ran a few when i first encountered it nothing came back, i might record my screen for a few so i can capture what the text actually says. thanks guys.

Make sure you get something like Rkill and run it first. It will shut down malware/viruses so you can actually scan and remove them. Alot of Viruses have built in systems that if it's running it will elude detection.
