"Contact an admin" button doesn't work.
 

If you have an IP ban on the forums and you go to the splash screen and click the button that says "click here to contact an admin" clicking on that button leads to the same splash page telling you can't view content because you are IP banned.

that isn't surprising to hear, to be ip banned and be banned from pestering the admins

What's the point of having it at all then?

also you should prolly be posting in petitions not technical discussion because 'i'm ip banned from the forums why can't i view the forums' doesn't sound like

Discussion for issues crashing or freezing issues, UI modifications, etc.

It's still a forum related technical issue. Petitions are for individual situations. I'm posting here to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.

If you're IP banned from the forums, it means you aren't welcome here anymore.

It's also something only management can do (read: Rogean and Nilbog), so there isn't really a point in trying to repeal it.

instead of trying to figure out ways to get unbanned, maybe it would be helpful to think on how you got banned in the first place.
