anyone know of a GOOD video that really shows you how to do it?

I learned from the first video. Second one is harder for me with the mouse steering.

The guide I posted a link to should help you better understand how the mouse steering and using macros works.

My favorite way to swarm kite is using mouse steering with macros and normal run speed (no selos). This requires a large area to make circles in but has been the safest way for me to kite.

I know how they work. I tried it when I first started kiting. It just didn't feel natrual to me since I never use mouse steering for anything in game. I use macros too so the only difference is how to turn. Tried the tapping method and I like it much better.

I learned tapping. No videos, just started practice and execution on a few mobs and worked my way up to most of Overthere.

I did mouse steer to 49 naked. The only "issues" I ran into were FV Drolvargs, the uneven ground made for some mishaps trying to put on Chords, but I learned my lesson after a while.

Videos didn't really help, it's just something you learn by doing. At least for me. They can give you the basic idea, but it all boils down to you, your connection and what your computer can handle.

I hear you.. I definitely died more often kiting the drolvs in FV than i do in OT.. but pulling the drolvs was so nice.. Could easily pull 50-60 mobs in sub 10 minutes.

these are examples of AE kiting not swarm kiting.
