Upon entering the Western Wastes you should be told the following line.

A sentinel's voice invades your thoughts: 'Beware mortal! This land is marked by Veeshan, and is sacred to her brood. None but Dragonkin are welcome here. Your life is forfeit if you proceed. Ignore this message at your peril!'

It is, I thought I'd added that thing a long time ago. It activates on proximity with about a minute cooldown.

I remember it as well, I just don't remember it being there from launch. Or any of the 'zone whispers to you' messages for that matter.

Well, I found a Hate Raid called 'NopieHate' that I was a part of apparently. I'm assuming your epic rod from those mages =D.

Closest I can land it is Oct 18 2002 with my log file. Post me leaving MF. I was still moonlighting for the SF folks lol.

I remember clearly the first time zoning into WW on Velious release and seeing that message.
