could i please get some help getting the game running.
 

this is my second thread I have done what derubael reposted about how to down load and what to do I followed the directions to the letter and I when I click launch the screen go black I get a gold cursor and that's it , it stays just like that please help. I have logmein if some one is willing to take over my comp and see what im doing wrong I really want to play =) .

you install from Titanium Edition of EQ ...

you modify the eqhost.txt to point to the eqemu login servers ...

you make a shortcut to eqgame.exe NOT everquest.exe .. type "patchme" without the QUOTES in your shortcut to eqgame.exe on desktop (right click, properties)

Download the patch files .zip from project1999 manually install them into directory. http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files32.zip

TO SET UP A LOGIN SERVER ACCOUNT
you must also create a loginserver account on the EQemulator forums. http;//www.eqemulator.org

In all, you will have EQemu forum login, login server, and p99 forums account.

You WILL NEED to MANUALLY PATCH the spell files and others using the files from project 1999.org's latest patch (this website you're on) http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files32.zip

Ok im going crazy here i spent all day trying to figure this out i read every form did everything and im still getting the same thing i click play and get a black screen with a gold cursor could some one please help me....

the one thing i can not get to work is the patchme at the end of my eqgame.file
every time i put patchme at the end it gives me an can not find file path ??

when you are on the black screen with gold cursor press alt+enter to go into windowed mode. you can change scren resolution once in game.
