Serious question from ignorant bluebie

How dangerous is XPing in remote places (like the back of any dungeon that isn't unrest)? Or farming hs/seb/hole/chardok (and freeti, and to a lesser extent lguk and kedge and such)? I'm talking in terms of getting frequently ganked.

I mean, it's not like anyone of the appropriate level for most any dungeon can zone in and suddenly find + get to someone tucked into a nook somewhere in it... especially without the person noticing someone else is in the zone.

And I know you don't have instant+rechargeable escape clickies on red to help avoid nasty CRs... but I CR myself in dungeons all the time on blue with backup charisma crap I keep in the bank and it's relatively trivial even if I don't ask anyone to come help.

My red experience is limited to a 25 wizard, an 18 mage, and an 8 enchanter. The chanter got into like 2 fights in Nektulos way back when red was young before I got tired of trying to level a chanter again. The wiz and mage have literally never been involved in PvP.

Is everyone who talks like leveling on red is so much harder than leveling on blue playing an untwinked rogue or some shit so that they have to congregate in unrest to get anywhere, or what?

Chewie, post those screenshots of you deleveling me.

Any thing level 1-50 is very easy to do minus a little grief in Unrest. It will be hard to find groups but you will also be left alone as far as PvP.

52+ there will be gank squads roaming around checking the hot spots. CoM, KC, Seb, etc. Groups are hard to come by because they take a while to organize and can easily be broken up by a couple level 60s.

Solo in a discrete corner of the world killing light blues and one day you will make it through the exciting journey of Everquest.

Not gonna take you off ignore, Hippo.

Faerie - you dying to someone (repeatedly) doesn't mean shit. Where were you?

HippoNipple 02-28-2014 02:09 PM

Dang I have never even talked to you before and I'm the only one with a good answer on here.

Oh well.

Your comments are toxic and nonconstructive.

You can farm uncontested for awhile in a lot of those zones. Hot zones are places like KC/Sebilis/CoM. Necros tend to inhabit HS Basement but don't really come out to pvp. Chardok/Hole/Kedge are usually empty unless there are a lot of people exping online. Guk is run by Chewie but if you aren't a dick, he will kill you once and let you farm until the next day when he kills you again. Honestly its not as bad as you would think but if you act like a douche you will get treated like one too.

They dumb u die less in unrest from pvp than you do to trains on blue. Same # of run backs or more on blue + xp loss on every single one.

People here can be roidraiging nerds about the dumbest shit.
