Battle cleric weapon
 

Hey all,

Looking to make a battle cleric. I currently have a jade mace on my monk that I was going to xfer over, just curious if there is a better route I could try to go weapon wise?

2her or 1her, but I assumed 1her + shield would be the way to go.

Poison Wind Censer

Depends on level. Censer is a solid item for cleric. Probably the best for raw damage output.

I personally use a Journeyman's walking stick. Because I'm 35, tash proc to prevent undead nuke resists is handy. It's cheap, 4 WIS, fast delay.

I'd love to get my hands on a Dawnfire in a few levels but I don't plan on paying 40k for one.

PWC pre-50 is pretty solid but costs a shield slot. (Sarnak Battle Shield or Clay Guardian Shield +40-50hp are awesome at the lower levels)


If you want to battle undead most of the time:

Bonethunder Staff can be quested up for the lower levels (procs ward undead at level 10).

Dawnfire is crazy awesome level 40+ if you want to hang out in Lower Guk, KC, CoM, Seb Crypt, or the Hole (undead tower).

Epic is a mighty fine beater once you get to that point.

Censor or a Dawnfire is really what it comes to imho.

How much does Dawnfire cost though?

At high level Dawnfire or Theurgist's Star probably best atm for cleric melee. In Velious though, Blackstar actually makes cleric melee useful.

Pve or pvp

Pve prob go the dawn fire route and live in guk

PvP tash stick MANDATORY until proc then switch. 1 hb + shield. Epic pref.

Get haste do work.
