Fizzle Rates
 

I really think that the fizzle rate is excessive :( I just got 51 on my ranger and I can't cast invis on myself before I run out of mana. Anyone else think it's excessive?

Had the same thing happen to my ranger around that level...I counted 79 fizzles once before Camo landed. I fixed it by going to my ranger guildmaster and putting a bunch of points into it, then casting the Dance of the Fireflies spell a lot.

TBH doesnt seem like enough fizzles

What's your divination? It's not really an easy skill to level up since it's not used very often.

Sounds like you haven't leveled divination up at all. Go to your trainer and spend some of those points.

Yup, its divination. Always get fireflies early and cast it enough each level to max div. As a spell, its completely useless otherwise, but great for that. I think I recall it playing a part in the ranger epic too, but that may be a false memory.

Once Velious comes it will be super useful! VSR ftw.

Chill in EC, get a C2, and find a corner and spam invis vs animal on yourself for an hour while you read auctions.

Still, i believe i have alot more fizzles here than i did on EQLive, even with maxes Spell Casting Skill.
