Yes, some people actually say they agree with such statements. And again, doing so was correlated with sadism in its various forms, with psychopathy, and with Machiavellianism.

I dunno- I like to troll a little on the internet but I think I'm a decent person IRL. I thought most people liked to troll, but maybe that's just the mind of a sadist.

I think there is a difference between trolling and just being silly/poking fun/playing a harmless practical joke. I think of trolling as the people that send gore pictures to a family that just lost their kid in a car accident. Those people are disgusting.

There have been a few threads in the past about people who died IRL and most people are respectful but some still troll. Reminds me of that kind of behavior. I agree there is a major difference there.
