Since the GM's are banning unwanted content - can we update the Forum Post Rules?
 

While we are at it, can we get rid of the the video depicting Nizzar in a wheelchair and committing suicide? I am very offended as a member of a major wheelchair advocacy group I feel that this is a form of ableism that disgusts me.

Further, as someone that volunteers at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, I do not think that the guy in said wheelchair attempting suicide is a laughing matter. We should be cognizant of a person's feelings if they are depressed let alone depressed from their disability.

I'm also offended by various sigs and avatars in this forum. For instance, HippoNipples sig is a form of sexism and chauvinism. As a 4th Wave Feminist, I would like his sig and all other similar raunchy sigs to be removed. If you feel that this is out of bounds, my apologies. If you think that I should just put Hippo on ignore, then I say put whoever posts the Nihilum Recruitment video on ignore.

If the GM's are censoring the group as a whole, I recommend you either update or re-emphasize the rules for posting.

Fictional videos are definitely the same thing as actual exploitation of children in third world countries for the sole purpose of chuckles on an emulated server for a 17 yr old video game.

I never said they were the same thing. I'm just saying that if it's the GM's practice to respond to one individual of an entire populations' personal offense to a video (i.e. Heartbrand crying about the recruitment video) and immediately being responsive to his every whim (i.e. banning the video) then it should be extended to other members of the community.

As someone that is a Feminist, Suicide Prevention Volunteer, Disability Advocate, I am requesting that the GM's just update their forum posting policy and perhaps be more impartial to ALL posts in this forum. Not just Heartbrand's. But I guess "Donator Status" has far reaching implications.
