Just curious, how much bandwidth does this server use in a month?

Rogean 08-04-2010 09:48 AM

My 50mbit link has very few outages, my Internet might be down for 15 minutes once every 4 or 5 months, usually due to a DOCSIS firmware push. Which if I call them, they usually credit me for (unexpected downtime, or firmware update) or update my account to the latest promotional price offer for 6 months. The lack of SLA kind of blows though, when my link goes down I'd like to think to myself that heads are going to roll and network engineers are going to have their heads shoved into a 9U storage array until they bleed from the ears. :p

trevius ran(/runs?) his server just fine on his Comcast link, and it's not even business tier.
