Lord Grimrot (Aegis of Life)
 

Lord Grimrot in South Karanas (for the Aegis of Life) is spawning as undead both day and night... wasted 3 hours of my life for a second Heart :(

Just killed Live Grimrot. He spawned at 9PM game time. Dropped Scythe. I'd been there for over 4 hours.

Definitely not working as intended then.

Live Grimrot should not spawn after 8pm and undead Grimrot should never spawn during the day.

Well I'd like undead Grimrot to spawn at any time so i can get the hell outa here.

You're not a noob if you subscribe to the ph timing theory. The overwhelming evidence from people who've done the camp is that, at the very least, undead Grimrot is far more likey to spawn at night than live Grimrot and vice versa. As for the possible 45 minutes variance in spawn times, if you were to plot a graph of spawn times you'd find a big cluster of points right around the 3 hour 14 minutes point. Does't have to be a guaranteed time for this theory to make sense.

Could be working as intended, could have been both spawned during each others' timers on live. And fireapple. Whole thing took me 20 hours, and 17 of that was undead. Most people say undead is much harder. So at least ya got that ;/

But yeah... quest sucks... and was intended to suck, I think, reading horror stories on Allas.

Killed PH and rest of camp at 5pm game time. Had one more cycle with a PH in it. Cleared again. Live Grimrot spawned after that. Killed him at 10pm. Could have spawned at 9pm again.

i just killed the PHs whenever they poped for 8 hours and i was done with live and undead ...

Ok guys just killed a 3rd Live Grimrot. this one was at 3AM game time.
Is this broken? Are the live grims being put in to compensate for only having Undead Grims per the OP's post?

Lord Grimrot (Live versus Dead) spawning incorrectly
 

I've camped Lord Grimrot 12 hours yesterday total, and 9 hours so far today. The live version of him has spawned 3 times and I've killed him 3 times. The odd thing is, the first two times he spawned were at 9pm, and the 3rd time he spawned was at 3am. These times are game time of course. This isn't correct. He's supposed to spawn undead at night, and live during the day. Can I do anything about this?

Grimrot isnt on a night/day timer here.

Both live and undead can be found in both day and night.
