There's no adequate septic system. The foul smelling stuff that ends up in your hair while you're walking under the tree houses is fecal matter. Elves simply dig holes that lead to the forest floor with no regard.

They are actually master civil engineers. They concealed their septic system in the trees which support the platforms.

dark elves are the worst of all elves, im not sure why they are so popular.

aaanyway, elves shouldnt be worried about where their toilets flush to. its no big deal if a bear or wolf gets hit with boeing bomb

At least Neriak has a working city infrastructure.

I've never seen a toilet/shower/sink with running water in any neriak building. there is however water running through the streets that i assume they pump full of personal waste.
