How to DL Patch?
 

Hi there. This is likely a straight-forward issue for most - but some of us are a little slower :o

How do I download the latest patch? I'm told to go here:

But the links on the page look to be no different than the ones I originally downloaded to get the game going in the first place. When I download the latest EQchanges.zip file (which is 3 in this case), it states that the files were last modified in April 2010 - so I'm thinking this isn't the recent August patch.

Is there some other site that I need to go to? Where is the actual file that I need to download?

the files look the same, but they are updated by the devs, so whenever there is a patch you just download those files, on a side note, where the hell does anything say April 2010 hehe, everything says modified 8/2/2010 for me

The UICHANGESV2.zip file is saying that it is invalid or corrupt when i try to open it to unzip.

I just downloaded the file and unzipped with 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org) with no issues. Are you using windows extract, Winzip or Winrar at all? You can always try following my post listed in my sig if your still having issues.

We're on eqchangesv3.zip now.

But still on uichangesv2.zip as indicated by the Jailent and as you say eqchangesv3.zip by the OP.
