Things Are Looking Up
Just look at this page:
http://whokilledit.com/ Today there was: - Healthy/fun competition between guilds for raid targets - Both "levels" of guilds getting a chance to compete - Some cooperation between guilds when needed - A spread of raid targets going to multiple different guilds - A lack of training/bullshit tactics - Casual guilds happy they finally get a chance to experience some end game content - Hardcore guilds still getting the majority of the rewards for their efforts I'd say things have changed for the better around here, and we should all be pretty happy with the changes. Cheers to the staff, thanks for the work you've put in. Looking forward to p99 more than ever. |
Sounds awesome, wish the changes had happened when I was still playing.

That is a pretty cool link you got there. Neat.

Maybe this belongs in another thread... but on the topic of "Care Bears" vs. ... let's start calling them "Dark Hearts" for the sake of congruency, why is Doljonijiarnimorinmar not being included with Class C? That seems to be the game they wish to play, and if spirited competition is really what it's about - and not striving to become "TMO junior", then the residents of Class C should welcome them with open arms, and even defer to them when they bring their game - give them a chance to try and fail when they get there first.

Hardcore players feel they are entitled to monopolize the game like they did just because they are willing to use extreme measures. Unfortunately to them, those in charge don’t want P99 raiding to continue to be about just who is willing to use the most extreme measures to prove their worth. And if there was ever any doubt, hardcore players answer to those in charge and not the other way around. |
If you actually check out the link in the OP, you may surmise (as I did) that Daldaen was being sarcastic... not that many "clean" kills by any one guild.
