Factioning
 

I've been handing in bone chips in Qeynos to gain faction. I've been doing it a really long time. I have no idea how many bone chips I've handed in. I still don't have the faction I need. I think I've already spent a reasonable amount of time turning in bone chips.

I'm writing this to appeal to the GMs to double the faction gain per bone chip turn in.

Please I want my faction!

I don't want to click on these bone chips anymore! Just give it to me plz!

Ironically you're a decaying skeleton for your first post.

1) read forum.
2) determine biggest problem facing community.
3) read your post.
4) determine levels of future GM intervention.

I think a more fruitful way of going about this would be to do a little sleuthing first. If you can find some old forum post somewhere where someone says something like "it took me exactly 573 bone chips to get to max faction", then you can post to the bugs forum and say "I turned in 600 bone chips and I'm still not maxed, but here's some evidence that it should only have taken 573".

I've read all of the posts on the subject. I've done my research.

I've clearly spent a reasonable amount of time handing in bone chips. I'm unwilling to spend anymore time doing this. My inability to gain faction in a reasonable amount of time is clearly a problem that requires GM intervention. I deserve this faction.

Wow, you're off to a great start here. Let me clarify something for you: this is a free server, and the only thing you "deserve" is a swift kick in the head for acting like an entitled jerk.

The goal of this server is to emulate classic Everquest, not give people what they feel they deserve. If you can demonstrate that the number of bone chips needed is un-classic, then you stand a good chance of getting the developers to change things. Otherwise deal with it, or take your entitled self elsewhere.

Registered this month, 2 posts, using the phrase "I deserve this".

Someone is a bad troll. Learn2trollbetter. Create forum accounts months in advance and keep lists of them. Randomly get on these accounts and reply to questions in the class forums and tech forums to build a reputation beyond 1-post-man. Age that forum account and then when you can't handle it anymore troll away with your 6 month, 50 post account and profit.
