can i run this game?
 
hi all. a friend was telling me about this game: http://www.eveonline.com/ and i was wondering if anyone can tell me is it worth trying to install on my laptop or is it not going to run?

Looks fine at a glance, EVE has been around for a long time... I don't think there should be any issues?

Shame about Windows 8 though ;)

yea, i feel the same way. i needed a laptop in a pinch and this was the best machine for pretty cheap. im not terribly disappointed with win8, as ive gotten used to metro by now. but its no linux, so...

It is a very good game and you can probably run it on an atari. There is a huge learning curve though and things will appear simplistic at first but are very complicated.
