Project 1999 - Back again, I missed you....

...EverQuest.

I played off and on for about 6 years on the Cazic-Thule and Ayonae Ro servers as the characters Tunarian and Shinkhi. I ultimately left for the final time because the game got a little bloated and I had a really hard time keeping pace with the hardcore raid schedule of my guild. However, I started up a monk last night under the name Shinkhi and I find it refreshing. This game is sooooooo dated. But I actually died at level 2. What? Challenge! Exciting.

I don't know if this is just nastalgia right now or genuine excitement about playing my favorite game again, but I'm so glad that P99 exists. I have been looking for a more hardcore MMO since I left EQ, I guess I should have known the game I would find would be EQ.
