Was listening to Shaggy: It Wasn't Me. I remember listening to it as a kid [likely not realizing quite what all the lyrics ment at the time cause of my age, hah] and this youtube video came up.

I remember how disappointed I was to learn that Shaggy was the annoying dude in the background yelling, and not the main singer in the song.

Because it's his band and he's an annoying mfer.

With a few exceptions I was pretty disappointed with music by 1999. That whole decade kinda got worse and worse.
