Mouse look completely unusable. Hello, I sometimes play on my work laptop and use a Virtual machine copy of Windows XP on it. For some reason or another, the mouse look is completely messed up. It is *INSANELY* accelerated. Moving the mouse even slightly will rocket the view into that direction. Any ideas? |

Set max fps to about 40 or so. |

No, you really don't. It's not usable at all, and this is coming from the same type of gamer as you are. I tried what Jasonz suggested, with no luck. |

Try lowering it to 40 or 60 then. Maybe I had it backwards. |

I've tried both, with no luck. Max FPS, 40, 60, 10. Nothing. |

Have you tried lower the mouselook sensitivity in options? Also, try decreasing your dpi and turning off mouseaccel in mouse settings. |

I made a post about this back in 2009 on another forum account of mine and never found a resolution to the problem. The mouselook sensitivity setting nor the max FPS suggestion worked when I tried them. I think I found a post addressing this problem years later, but by that time I had gotten my hands on a PC and it was no longer a problem. I'll try and dig around on these forums for a solution later on. If I find it, I'll post it. I just bought myself a new macbook pro and I plan on installing windows/VMware and running p99 on it, and I'm sure I'll experience this problem again myself. |
