All that really happened is they disbanded for a day to purge their guild of the 'spies' who were posting their embarrassingly whiny /gu after they got banned. Not sure why anything would change.

I think it's likely TMO is going to come up with entirely new bullshit to inflict upon the server.

No, that's exactly what I meant. The TMO spin machine has a plethora of alt accounts to post from. By making the votes public you actually know which votes count. See the failed Zeelot should be banned poll.
