server issues?

I'm having major issues zoning/timing out while zoning in the last 20 min or so.

casspeus 12-11-2013 01:51 AM

There are no servers in the server select either

Ataxio 12-11-2013 01:59 AM

Yeah I'm having the same issues. Can't zone without losing connection, and game play was periodically laggy before that.

The1Gnome 12-11-2013 01:59 AM

Seems to be something frequently happening to everyone as of late, keep at it and you'll get through.

Rogean 12-11-2013 02:00 AM

Looks to be a comcast issue. I'm seeing it too.

Comcast user here too. Glad to know I wasn't alone.

I am on verizon network and I have the same issue... very typical this time of day.

Time Warner Internet. Same issues. Many posts. Many weeks. Much frustration. Much curiosity.

Load/Zone Crashes/Freezes
Abnormally Long (wtf am i frozen) zone times
Blank server list
"Your spell files are out of date" character select screen
Ctrl+Alt+Del 5 times before ragelogging for the night.

My theory: Whatever changes made to stop DDoS spam attacks are very effective. However, these same changes are disturbing casual play.

Current Issues are 10x better than DDoS for sure. Frustrating, but reasonable compromise.

Anyone with real server knowledge comment?

I'm having issues as soon as I started playing. Couldn't attack with auto-attack on an orc, but spells would work, kept saying I was too far away when chasing a fleeing whisp and now when I zoned it just froze except I could see my mouse moving around on screen and it eventually turned black and stopped responding. :( Hopefully this isn't going to keep happening consistently. It's like the server stops responding to certain requests/actions. Things were perfect last night and early in the morning though.
