EQ launcher down?

I haven't played in a month or so and now when I try to log on it says I have expired spell files. But when I try to update them with the launcher it won't connect to it.

Any suggestions?

Launcher is deprecated and no longer supported for P99.

1. Find your P99 folder
2. Find "eqgame.exe"
3. Create a shortcut for it (I put mine on the desktop)
4. Go to the shortcut, right click on it and select "Properties"

Something resembling this will appear (your folder path will likely be different to mine)..

Make sure to write patchme after the target. Apply the changes.

You can now use the shortcut to log in!... job done. No launcher required anymore! The only thing to be aware of is patch days, where you need to go to the News/Announcements forum and download the latest patch and unzip it to your EQ folder.

Every day new people start using the new launcher and I'm proud to say, that since version 1.71 there were no error reports.
This means I can fully concentrate on new features.

Also more and more servers join, currently there are 9 in in the beta.

- Akka's Funhouse
- The Hidden Forest
- PEQ The Grand Creation
- Zippzipp's Funland
- Realm of Draconis
- Dungeon Crawl
- Varlyndria
- EZ Server
- Storm Haven
