Anyone else thinking about this?

Revamped multiplayer, new resolutions, new party members, new areas. Mmmmm

Thinking about taking a week or two off and running through this one more time. Who wants to do a nightly multiplayer run with me? I know the first BG:EE was pretty damn good, and BG2 was always my favorite.

Ranger/Cleric ftw.

Fuck you Minsc and your goddamn hamster.

I'm sure it will be great, but I already have the whole trillogy modded and bigworlded and installed. It would be neat if they did a total remake, maybe update it to 3.5 rules, and a new engine or something neat.

*On the plus side its supposed to have a bunch of new items, content, and quests, as well as a whole mini expansion/side quest And be easy to setup on modern systems.

So yeah I will actually give it a shot just to see what its like compared to the original.

Beamdog did a really great job with the first enhanced edition. My only complaint so far is they never released an Android version.. My galaxy tab needs some love. However, I've been hearing that an Android release is coming up pretty soon. Both Baldurs Gate games are the epitome of 90s PC RPGs. Im gonna try not to cheat this time and run a 3 man power group. Cleric/Ranger , Mage/Thief, / Fighter/Cleric is OP

Yeah did the original enhanced edition have some better AI scripts and stuff?

My only beef with the game series is micromanaging buffs every encounter. But it really isn't a big problem with the pace of the game. And you can always run thru with classes and combos that arent heavily buff dependant.

My fav char is an assasin, just load up them poison daggers on casters and watch them die lol.

Nice! Thank you for sharing!

I'm still a certified pro in BG2: SoA legit dueling. Throne of Bhaal got some things a little out of whack and I don't think a legit dueling scene ever really existed.

Off the top of my head, I think it's a dual-classed Swash/fighter lvl 13/19 which was without a doubt the most powerful class combination. Cleric/fighters were worthless due to potions of absorption (-10ac vs crushing per hit). Kensai/mages are sick in bursts and have the largest damage output of any class combination while spells permit. Wizards and Barbarians are the only pure classes that can hold their own in a legit duel.
