Project 1999 - 20 Wizard, seeking a home...

I'm very experienced in other MMO's, and have some (dated) experience with EQ. I've played DAoC, WoW, Warhammer, etc.

This is my first character (past level 4 or so) on Project 1999. People told me that rolling a Wizard as a first character isn't smart, they don't bring a lot to groups and they need certain items to be effective later on.

Well, I'm having a LOT of fun with my wizard. Grouping hasn't been much of an issue. I'm a take-charge type of person, and usually have been putting together my own groups.. and I'm pretty sociable, so people tend to re-invite me once they play with me. With that said, I'm happy with my choice in Wizard.

I'm also the type of player who likes to help others. When I'm higher up, I look forward to giving people ports, and helping with their quests.

But for now, I'm the noob, and I need some help. I need some friends to show me the ropes.

I play on EST, and play maybe 2-3 hours each week night, and 10 hours a day on Fri/Sat/Sun. Yes, I plan to be a poop socker.

I have vent, skype, TS. I have experience from live (Up to PoP).
