Cheap lowbie 1h/shield for an SK?
 

Hey everyone, I'm a relatively new player to the server (been here a month or so now, but still haven't been able to accomplish much, due to time restraints) and I finally settled on a main. I decided to go with a human SK and I was hoping to find a decent, affordable one-handed weapon and shield for him -- or at least the former. At only around 50-100pp, what are the options I'm looking at, if any?

50-100 is tough, weapons that would sell regularly in that range end up rotting or being used for pets or just get vendored due to inflation on the server.

Sword of Skyfire might be best choice for cheap lowbie 1hander.

Don't believe the wiki prices, btw. Pretty obvious people are trying to manipulate when wiki shows GJBS at 250 - 300 lately but I've had one on my mule for over two weeks that has not even gotten a single nibble at 200pp asking price.

For the shield I'd go for a Crested Mistmoore Shield, cheap with good resists on it.

A shiny brass shield is a reasonable starting shield...no more than 50pp I believe (and 50pp less than that if you head to CB to camp it) :p

I used a Silvery war axe on my first toon, went fine untillvl15 ish, then the dmg proved to be to low.
