Blue Server PvP Code
It would be really nice to see the changes from the red server improving PvP mechanics (resists, durations, etc etc) imported to the blue server. As most people know, the PvP code existing on the blue server is some old iteration of PvP code that has since been completely revamped and then tweaked on the red server (a work in progress).
The main issue is resist caps and levels - compared to even the previous patch of red with the 95% instead of 98% cap, PvP on the blue server is screwy. I tested a bunch of stuff yesterday and at 160 magic resist, most devastating MR-based effects (like root, snare) landed with ridiculous frequency. Given Alecta's awesome and continued work on adjusting PvP mechanics, I think merging the red fixes with the blue server would be really enjoyable for we "Purples" (you see how clever I am) and would stand as a great justice in the pursuit of classic! |

Really with the roots when i did duels i noticed roots and snares very very rarely landed, hell i resisted much with 80 MR, when i was at 150 with some resist gear i was almost immune. Not saying it didnt happen, is it class based at all?

haha yeah make items not rechargable and add cast times to gate pots while you're at it :D

Paladins ridiculous OP on blue to duel against due to blind landing full duration every 2nd cast regardless of MR. Then they go hiding somewhere to rub their helmets. It's gross. |

ya a lot of blues /duel and think it works the same on r99. they see it's retarded and then go "why would i play r99 if the pvp mechanics are this retarded"?
