Yealight Quits: EQClassic Dead
 

Haha what a crybaby. Dude had a review system set up for every post made on their forums and wouldn't allow people to talk about P99 or anywhere else. No surprise he quits when beta testers criticized "his work".

This is why these kinds of projects should always be open source.

Otherwise, it hinges on some unstable guy who is prone to taking his proverbial ball and going home when someone calls him a "gosh darn jerk" on the forums.

Still, I can't deny that Yeahlight's work was meticulous. He was very close to coding a perfectionist's recreation of EQ and the classic client down the last detail. That said, I never once thought it was anything but vaporware.

feel sorry for all those that waited years for this shit posting everyday there, I somehow knew this project was gonna flop and never even gave my effort.

also, i called this, oh, about a year ago when i found out about the project and questioned yeahlight on his forum about DB work, getting the response that 'he had no intention of creating an EQ db'.
