EQ Dog Commands

So my wife and I are in the midst of training our four month old doberman puppy and have decided to embrace our inner EQ nerd by using EQ jargon in our training. For example, stay = root, lay down = mez, play dead = feign death, and release = break (as in, break root / mez). We thought about having sit = med (meditate), but figured that is one of those commands that needs to conform to the norm.

If you have any cleaver suggestions, please post them.

Cute!

How about "go pull" for playing fetch? :)

Just keep in mind that dogs aren't hearing the words the same way as humans. "Med" and "mez" are close enough that they would be easily confused. It's mostly the vowel sounds that they pick up on, I believe.

"go lay down" --> "slash q"

Not bad, we were trying to come up with something for fetch, this might be it.

Haha /q, good one. Too bad we already have a command for this; Den = go to your kennel & sleep.
