Should be immediately. Doubt it can be changed though.

It started out immediate on live. but then was later (not sure when) changed to be 15 minutes. As for what it is here? Don't know, the situation has yet to present itself to me.

I looted a rapier yesterday crashed LD went back and it was still there. So i guess its 15mins or something.

Yes 30minutes for magician summoned items also.
