Unable to bind to Field of Bone?
 

Hello,

Following Deajay's AoE Bard Leveling guide, there are many places in Kunark he recommends kiting at. I leave Kelethin and make the long trek from the BB docks to the Field of Bone. I find a shaman in the zone, and he is unable to bind me. We get the message:

"You cannot seem to develop an affinity for this place. Try a city."

We came as close to Cabilis as we possibly could without me getting KoS'ed (half-elf). Any ideas on where I can bind. I see Ogres all the time leveling in Gfay, they can't possibly have problems binding themselves in those areas.

Just watch out for that prick skeleton

Casters can bind themselves in most places, but they can only bind others at cities and at a select few other locations. The reason Ogres can easily do Crushbone is because all of Greater Faydark is considered a city for the purposes of binding, because Kelethin is there. When I was doing FoB on my bard I bound in Firiona Vie; wasn't aware Kaesora was an option.

Yeah, the Stone looking entrance at Kaesora is where you can bind.

It wasn't all of GFay back in the day tho, was only vicinity of Kelethin, vicinity of the wiz spires, and vicinity of the 4 zone lines (actually not 100% sure you could bind next to Felwithe zl, but LFay/BBM/CB all worked.)

I was always able to bind anywhere in gfay.
